Payment reminders for freelancers

Get paid on time, without chasing clients.

PoliteDue sends polite payment reminders by email the moment invoices are due or late — so you can stay on the work, not the follow-ups. SMS is the next channel we're adding.

How it works

Set it once. Get paid on autopilot.

PoliteDue learns your invoice due dates and sends the right nudge at the right time — in your voice, not a cold template.

1

Connect your invoices

Link QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks, or upload a CSV. PoliteDue reads the due dates automatically.

2

Choose your tone

Polite, warm, or a little firmer. PoliteDue sounds like you — not a robot debt collector.

3

Let it run

Reminders go out on schedule and stop the moment they pay. You do nothing.

What you get

Small tool. Real relief.

Texts that get read

Registered 10DLC numbers so your reminders aren't filtered as spam. Texts are opened in minutes, not buried.

Human, not robotic

Warm phrasing clients appreciate — many reply to say thanks. The relationship stays intact.

Pay in one tap

Every reminder includes a Stripe pay link. The easier you make it, the faster you're paid.

Get 100+ hours back

No more spreadsheet trackers, sticky notes, or calendar alarms. PoliteDue runs quietly in the background.

Late fees, enforced

Optionally add the late fee your contract already allows — and actually collect it, instead of waiving it.

Clear aging report

See exactly who owes what and for how long, at a glance — no spreadsheet required.

Early access

What joining the list actually means.

1

The $9/mo price, locked

Early-access users keep the founding price for as long as they stay subscribed. The regular price will be $18/mo at public launch.

2

A direct line to us

Tell us which invoicing tools you use and how you like to sound. We're building for solo freelancers, not finance departments — your answers shape it.

3

No charge until it works

We're onboarding gradually. You won't be charged anything until PoliteDue is live and actually sending your reminders.

FAQ

Good questions.

Will my clients be annoyed by texts?

No — and that's the point. Reminders are polite and stop the moment they pay. Most freelancers tell us clients appreciate the nudge. These are "transactional" messages tied to an active invoice, not marketing.

Is this even legal? (TCPA / 10DLC)

Yes. PoliteDue uses registered 10DLC numbers and only messages contacts tied to an invoice relationship. We handle the carrier registration so your reminders aren't blocked.

What if I already use a tool that sends emails?

Most invoicing tools fire a generic "invoice overdue" email that reads like a robot and lands in the same inbox as everything else. PoliteDue sends a shorter, human reminder on a schedule you set — and SMS is next on the roadmap, which is where the real open rates are.

When does it launch?
